The story begins with Gopal (Arjun Kapoor) and Paaji (Kumud Mishra) getting themselves into danger, their attempt to escape it, and while they are doing it, destiny entangles them with a few more characters and a van full of money, which to them looks like a solution to all their problems. what works for kuttey movie?

The final 20 minutes of this Vishal Bhardwaj, Luv Ranjan, and Bhushan Kumar-produced film are what I find to be the most effective. The movie struggles to engage you in the first half, but it gets up steam in the second half, especially as it builds to the finale. As the movie draws to a close, everything starts to make sense, only for it to all come crashing down in the climax. You’re kept on edge by the narrative’s sudden momentum while also wondering why it wasn’t present earlier in the production.

Having said that, credit to director and writer Aasmaan Bhardwaj for achieving this; the whole handling of the movie is distinctive, significant, and uncommon in the Hindi cinema industry. The idea of greed, ambition, and betrayal isn’t new, but the way the narrative has been told makes it stand out. Vishal Bhardwaj’s dialogue stands out. While certain one-liners, such as Tabu’s commentary on men, will make you laugh, others, like Konkona’s “Sirf Tum Aur Tumhara Malik Desh Nahin Hai, Hum Bhi Hai,” will make you ponder.

What Not Works for kuttey movie?

The film’s drawn-out storyline doesn’t go in its favour. The characters in Kuttey are all eccentric, and the novel moves the plot along while still taking its own time establishing each one’s unique characteristics. Sometimes, this makes the spectator eager for what comes next. In addition, Tabu’s frog and scorpion tale and Ashish Vidyarthi’s role don’t contribute anything to the main plot and might have been completely cut out. Given that the current scene is lengthy and pretentious, perhaps another approach could have been taken to establish the point the it was trying to make.

Performance of cast in kuttey .

As Gopal, Arjun Kapoor delivers an honest portrayal and masterfully captures the emotions. A wonderfully controlled performance from Tabu, Konkona Sensharma, and Kumud Mishra tells volumes about their acting experience and skill. Despite having little screen time, Naseeruddin Shah makes an impression, and Radhika Madan and Shardul Bhardwaj both perform admirably in their respective roles. Radhika has improved so much as an actress, in fact.

Final Verdict of kuttey !

Overall, Kuttey does fascinate and entertain, but only in certain segments. The movie can do a lot more with it and underutilizes its potential.
